Going to KC this weekend.

I'm looking for names of good restaurants. My mother does not get to pick this time. She's a KC native but we just don't agree on what constitutes a good restaurant.

Specifically looking for good stuff in the Waldo, Westport, Plaza, or Overland Park areas.

Well, the Spanish place we love is called La Bodega:

We also loved Genghis Khan, a really really good Mongolian Grill right off of 39th Street over by the University of Kansas Medical Center.

Dude! I didn't know you had a blog. So, you should definitely go to the Jerusalem Cafe for all things Middle Eastern and the chocolate cake. I second Peter's vote for Genghis Khan. And go to the freakin' Nelson-Atkins already! ;) Kat.
