Glad you (ostensibly) got to the Art Institute. One of my favorite museums after the Belvedere in Vienna and British Museum in London. Notice that everything you've posted IS actually art, since I can't do it.
Flash photography wasn't allowed. That's the reason for the poor resolution (phone camera).
I did think of you while traveling through the modern wings....with the Mondrians, Pollacks, etc. I loved the art. Can't wait to go back...just because you can do it doesn't mean it's not art.
